WEST COAST IRELAND APPROACHES TO SHANNON ESTUARY - CHANGES TO BUOYAGE

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on 24 February 2012, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the existing Beal Bar Buoy will be changed to a Starboard Lateral Mark and relocated approximately 1 cable to the East. At the same time the existing Doonaha Buoy will be relocated approximately 3 cables to the West and the lights on both buoys synchronised. The new characteristics of the buoys will be as follows:
