The Commissioners of Irish Lights
hereby give notice that on or about 5 December 2005 the current
preferred channel marking scheme will be permanently discontinued.
The new Aids to Navigation scheme will provide marking for the
western entrance channel only as follows:-
A NEW GLANDORE SW LIGHTED BEACON IS TO BE ESTABLISHED AS A STARBOARD LATERAL MARK

A NEW LIGHTED STARBOARD HAND LATERAL MARK BUOY "SUNK ROCK" IS TO BE ESTABLISHED

| Topmark | Green Cone apex upwards |
The following marks are to be permanently dis-established:
| Danger Buoy | 51° 33.52' N 009° 06.85' W |
| Glandore SW Buoy | 51° 33.11' N 009° 06.64'W |
| Glandore SE Perch | 51° 33.19' N 009° 06.58' W |
All other details remain unchanged.
