History:
The tower was originally built in 1806.
On 10 December 1964 the flash length of the character Fl every 2 seconds was altered to 0.4 seconds. On the 25th September 1979 this character was changed to LFl W 10s.
The light was converted to solar power in July 2000.
The lantern is a Tideland ML300 lantern with 20W tungsten halogen lamps, powered by 4 x 50W solar panels charging a 510Ah battery
